The finishing guide covers choosing a paint color, as well as, where and how to install your bat house for the best chances of success.

Specifications:
Dimensions: H 28" x W 18" x D 5.75"
Weight: 16 lbs.
Bat Capacity*: about ____ (depending on the species)
Cubic Inches of Roosting Space: ____ (information pending)
*We attempt to be honest with our estimates allowing approx. 3 cubic inches for each bat. This includes an allowance for unused space since the bats will not pack the house top to bottom. Some species will crowd in very tightly, others will not. Here's the math: "Cubic Inches of Roosting space / 3 Cubic Inches = estimate of capacity".
Why does it cost so much to ship?
Our bat houses are full size and certifiable. They are not toys or small bird house style kits - this kit ships in a 29x17x4 box and ships at 18 lbs.
If you purchase more than one kit, the kits will be flat packed in as few boxes as possible and your shipping charges will be adjusted to compensate. If you prefer to have each kit individually box, please let us know in the order comments.
